Welcome to the Red Stick Rebellion
The Red Stick Rebellion is a Star Wars collectors group based in Baton Rouge, LA. We normally have meetings on the second Saturday of every month and encourage anyone with an interest in Star Wars collecting to come by.

Every month we have a different focus topic presented by individuals who have a great deal of knowledge in the area - plus we always have our regular general discussion, trading and lots of fun!

So come to the next meeting, interact in the forums, learn something, educate others and have fun with other Star Wars collectors!

Costume Fan Days Moved To 10/23

Due to an unforeseeable conflict at the Jones Creek Library this year we are moving Costume Fan Days back a week to October 23rd, 2010. Be sure and update your calendars and join us for the all the Star Wars related fun such as Landspeeder Racing, Clone Trooper Bowling, LEGO Building, Trivia Contests and more!

An updated fliier will be coming soon and we will also be sure to make a big push to let everyone know that the date has changed.

We're sorry for any inconvenience it may cause anyone and look forward to seeing you October 23rd!
June Meeting & Databank Updates

We just wanted to remind everyone that June's meeting has been moved up a week to this Saturday (6/5) so that it will not conflict with Con du Lac in Lake Charles next weekend. Phenix has suggested (see the forums) that everyone bring a vintage item from their collection that is special to them - so go dig in your collection and find an item with a great story behind it to bring!

Also of note, we are trying to get the Databank (and Scouting Reports) ready for the new toy release coming this August so head over there to check out the latest addition of the new Clone Wars, Saga Legends and Vintage Collection items to the Databank!
May Meeting Moved Up

The May meeting has been moved up and will be tomorrow (Saturday, May 8th) from 1pm to 3pm to allow members to be able to go to the WAFB Photo Shoot and Disney on Ice promotions for Star Wars in Concert. We hope to see you at the meeting tomorrow and the promo events in costume!
Star Wars in Concert comes to BR on May 19th!

The Red Stick Rebellion is proud to announce that Star Wars in Concert will be coming to the Baton Rouge River Center on the 33rd anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope - May 19th, 2010! Tickets will go on sale on March 13th and the Red Stick Rebellion and Bast Alpha Garrison will be working with the River Center and other partners to promote the event. This show came to New Orleans back in October and was a great success - so it's coming back to the capital city! If you missed the show then - do not miss it this time!

For our first promotion, we will be appearing with members of the Bast Alpha Garrison on LPB (the local PBS network) during The Making of Star Wars in Concert - to be shown during their membership drive later this month. The piece is currently set to air on March 14th at noon and March 22nd at 8:30pm. You see more at LPB's site at the link below:
