  • First meeting of 2012 this Saturday (1/14)

    Come to our first meeting of 2012 and help us get ready for the re-release of Episode I with our look back at the original Episode I figure release in 1999. We are also bringing back the character spotlight for the databank and in keeping with the Episode I theme bring anything you have that's either Qui-Gon Jinn or Mace Windu for us to take pictures of for the databank! We will also be talking about Wizard World in New Orleans later this month, Celebration 6 and more, hope to see you there!

    As the year comes to an end, we just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We made it to loads of conventions this year, became a 501(c)(3) organization, brought back Costume Fan Day and had an incredibly successful toy drive with over 315 items this year and have now collected over $10,000 worth of donations in the last 5 years! We’d like to thank all of our members, the 501st and Rebel Legion and everyone in the community for a great this year! With the release of Episode I in 3D, Celebration 6, more conventions and who knows what other surprises in store – we look forward to 2012! Have a safe and happy holiday season - see you in 2012!

  • Christmas 2011 Toy Drive Dates Set

    We're happy to announce that the dates for the Fifth Annual Christmas Toy Drive have been set for 11/19 and 11/26! We're also happy to announce that this year, everything will be going to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Lastly, we're really excited to announce that we will be in two different locations this year! On November 19th, we will be at the "Go! Toys and Games" in the Mall of LA; then on the Saturday after Thanksgiving (November 26th) we will once again be in front of the O'Neal Walmart (right off I-12)! In the past four years we have had over $8,700 worth of items donated so we want to encourage everyone to come out and take pictures with your favorite Star Wars characters and donate to a great cause! Each year this drive has become a bigger success and we know this year will be even better! So be sure and come out and donate to a great cause - we look forward to seeing you there!

  • Fifth Annual Costume Fan Days Today!

    Come on out to our Fifth Annual Costume Fan Day event at the Jones Library, we'll have LEGO building, landspeeder races, Clone Trooper bowling the Jedi Training academy and all kinds of Star Wars characters at the Jones Creek Library today from 12 - 5pm. It's free for kids (and parents who are kids at heart) - we hope to see you there!
  • Red Stick Rebellion Approved for 501(c)(3) Status

    As of today, the Red Stick Rebellion is now Red Stick Rebellion Inc. and is an approved 501(c)(3) public charity organization! This means that if you itemize deductions, all donations made to the group can now officially be written off of your federal taxes plus companies can now donate to the group in the same way. With Costume Fan Days and the Toy Drives coming – everything was finalized just in time!

  • September Meeting Tomorrow (9/10)

    Our monthly meeting will be tomorrow (9/10) from 2 - 5pm at the Jones Creek Library. Come and help us get ready for Costume Fan Day 2011! We're going to start all the preparation for the event this year, plus we will also be talking about Star Wars Fan Days IV and we'll also have our regular buy/sell/trading and more! Hope to see you there!
  • New Website Changes!

    It's been almost 4 years since the look of the website was changed and a brand new look has been deployed! The new look makes use of many new technologies that have come along recently and includes new things like the "Google Plus" icon, easier to read pages, events, Scouting Reports, small changes to the mobile version based on feedback, and more! So come on by, give it a spin and let us know what you think in the forums or in the poll in the lower-right of the page - we hope the new look will make it easier for you to enjoy the site!
  • Costume Fan Day 2011 Preparation

    It's almost time for Costume Fan Day again and we're getting things moving quickly so please check the forums and see how you can help out! We need everyone's help to make this event a success from donations, assistance with running the events, help with preparation (craft preparations, building some of the events) and more - so even if you can't make it on October 29th, we could still use your help!
