Oh my, what a LONG night! We were up until at least 3:30am packing and repacking and re-repacking
to try and make sure that all of our stuff would fit as well as be (hopefully) protected for the trip back (a HUGE
thanks to Trey and his parents for taking some of the more delicate and impossible to pack items back with them in
the RV!). Then, after finishing around 4am, we were back up around 6am to head to the airport for the flight to
Dallas which left a little before 10am. Weather delayed us in Dallas (traffic jams aren't just in L.A. or back home
as you can see in some of the rainy pictures in Dallas) and we didn't leave until an hour later than we should
have. After that, we finally made it in the air from the hour long flight to Baton Rouge where we finally arrived
after 6pm (time changes are the Dickens too). All the luggage made it to us (some was sent off the actual flight)
and Tommy and I had a few items that were wet -- but luckily nothing of importance. In closing, I can't help by
thank Tommy for going along with me and putting up with me for 6 days in L.A. and, most importantly, my wife for
allowing me the opportunity and ability to go -- if they can hold off for 3 years, she'll be back with me for C5
(and so will the youngling)! I hope everyone else had a safe journey and a great time too... can't wait until
Celebration 5!!
