I had an idea for this coming months meeting (June 5th),

I'd like for each of us to bring our favorite Star Wars vehicle loose or in the box

to show off and kinda give a brief discription on it, what movie it was in,

play action and reasons it's your favorite vehicle ect.. sound cool?

 

Also I want to let you all know that I'm going to be downsizing ALOT of my Star Wars collection

so dig out those pennies (cash them in before you come LOL)

I'll be bringing some hard to get and exclusive stuff as well as standard carded and loose figs.

I'm rather give my fellow local collectors a chance to scoop them before I offer them up on the forums and e-bay.

I will also consider equal value trades as well so pull out your big guns!!!

 

 

That being said, coming close to death quite a few times over the last few weeks, I have left my employment

in the Industrial Industry and have returned to Cintas so no more 7 days a week for me

so sorry for not really being around much.

 

All that is going to change so please get with me on any idea's you may have for future meetings

to help make it more interesting for everyone.

 

I'd love to see alot of our members that don't come on a regular basis due to work and regular life.

Maybe a bonus of contests and such would help draw more interest collecting and coming to meetings

and maybe even a member recruiting "troop events" type venture where we can pass out cards ect while out hunting..

I know Tommy, Wayne and I will be going on a Hunt (long over due) tonight so we'll be passing out cards to SW collectors if any are seen.

 

I know we have the holonet that goes out via e-mail but do we have one for each meeting?

Forgive me for not remembering (mind is going as old age knock's at the door LOL)

Sounds great, Phenix. I'm really glad that you're not working such long hours anymore. It'll be great to have you back around more and not so tired when you are around.

I'll try to dig out a couple vehicles to bring to the meeting. I'm not a big vehicle collector, but I think I have a couple TIE's and maybe a couple other things.

Absolutely Nothing to report from the hunt on Saturday!

 

It seems we've hit the time between the end of the 2010 wave and the beginning of the 2011 wave that starts in August. With the

figures at $4.50 I was hoping to run across a few for the collection as openers. I've also checked N.O. with no luck.

 

I know that I have been out of the loop lately, but I will make the meeting this weekend. I will dig out some vehicles to bring along.

 

We will definately work out some member drives for the future and also start to advertise for Costume Fan Day with is just around the corner.

 

I look forward to seeing everyone soon.

P.S. Karen please bring the table cloths for the meeting Saturday.

Yah the hunt was fun though, even if we didn't find nothing,,,, a hunt with friends was long over due though.

I scored a G.I. Joe figure two pack I'd been wanting

and a REX

 

For the meeting this Sat, I guess it can be vinatge ships and recently made vehicles, basiclly your favorite/s

I know I have a few LOL

Tommy... I've got the table clothes, I'll bring them Saturday. I'll have to see if I can find a cool vintage vehicle now - I'll have to change in mid-gear since what I was going to bring wasn't one Tounge

Hey Wayne, it can be a newer ship,

I wanted everyone to bring their favorite ship from all the movies, vintage or new.

I'm bringing both!!!

 

Also to whom it may concern.

I need a holo Grevious and any thing Grevious items so bring em on!!!!

 

Also maybe we can shoot a quick Redstick video of us playing with our ships, maybe a battle?

With some small quick scripted lines like the old Kenner commercials, cheesy and all, that would be funny

and a good funny HAHA for in between our video presentations at future meeting?

 

So maybe bring some pilots for those ships and maybe for each meeting we can shoot a quich commercial
with a different theme, maybe even with the new waves about to come out, maybe start a trend? haha

Or the vids could be used for the end of the year X-Mas party DVD gift?

Just some idea's I've been kicking around in my heads, we can even post them on Youtube LOL

 

Feedback? Idea's? am I crazy for wanting to do this?  LOL
