I'd like to ask our members to submit their idea's for our 2010 meetings.
I'd like to get started on this as soon as possible as this takes time to set up.
I'd like to also suggest bringing back the Mystery Collectibles because this was a reaaly cool
idea that got lost in the RSR busy Fall season.
I can do the MC for Janurary as I had mine ready to go before we got busy with CFD3.

So post those idea's my friends and let's make 2010 a great year for the RSR!

My suggestions ::::
1. I'd like to see one on Bust ups / Busts (I only own a few so it can't be me)
2. I'd like to see one on SW Diorama's and displays
3. A figure collection of our member's fav character (example...Lady K's Luke action figure Collection)
this could also fall in the mystery collectible slot.
4. SW Lego collection (Wayne and Amy, this is your area) I would love to see Lego collections and
to hear all about the process and time to complete ect...
5. AFA Grading of Vintage and Modern and what's the reason and everything it entails on collecting them.
6. Possible idea for Lee, customizing SW action figures? I know this would be a really cool idea.

Good ideas Phenix, I was hoping you would do the presentation you did for BabelCon again (creating custom cards). I'll kick around the LEGO idea and see what I can come up with.

Great Idea's,  Phenix

I am currently working on a meeting set-up for building Diorama's for 3 3/4 inch figures.  I figure to have about 3 different projects that

people can choose from. They will be simple, beginner type Diorama's that can be completed within a 2 hour time frame. They will take up

very little shelf space, but bring a whole new dimension to your Star Wars room.

I will be displaying several projects for the January meeting and give a breif description of supplies needed, cost, and time spent to

complete the project. I think the RSR members will have a great time making these for their displays.

Tommy

P.S.  To all the RSR members, We really need volunteers to make-up meeting topics and give presentations. If you have idea's please post them.

I would like to see customizing of ships. Maybe airbrushing and weathering to make the  3 3/4" ships look more "used universe"?

Also we can do a pannel at Coast Con and or NOLA Comic Con.

I know we have the member's with the skills to make this happen. Maybe we could start with one of the smaller starfighters, that way

we could keep cost down.

If anyone wants to spearhead this topic at an upcoming meeting this year let the Meeting Coordinator know at the January meeting.

Awsome Idea!

We could take this one step further and dedicate an entire meeting for eveyone to bring their favorite art peices.

Just a thought....

If someone has an old Falcon maybe dewka could get the airbrush stuff and we could weather it and see what we get?
